We Went From Talking or Texting Everyday To Suddenly Nothing

One of our lovely readers, who has requested to remain anonymous, was dating a guy for a couple of months when he suddenly disappeared on her, both emotionally and physically. They went from seeing each other often and talking or texting every day to, "poof", nothing.

Here's her story:

Jane,

I am at a loss for what to do and I feel I need someone who is objective and doesn't know me personally to give me an honest answer. I will try to give as much info as possible without making it too long.

I began dating this guy whom I met online. Or at least I thought we were dating.

We spent two months together to be exact. He would call me every day and we would talk for at least an hour he would send me a good morning text every morning and good night texts every day and we texted throughout the day.

I need your help, I'm stuck...

I've met this man 15 years ago, we became friends. He had a girlfriend at the time and he married her, they were married for about 15 years and separated last year.

They got divorced around the same time we started talking again.

We started going out and it was perfect... For about 6 months... For the next 6 months my life became pure anxiety until he broke it off - we were together for a year.

We were planning to live together, get married, have children... the whole package. We wanted the same things. I couldn't be happier.

I want so badly to let go but I just can't!

Why can't I let go and move on?

I've been in a long distance relationship for 2 years off and on. The last time he broke up with me was 5 months ago and we have been on again off again since. I finally went no contact a month ago because even though we were talk he kept saying I care about you but don't want a relationship anymore.

We contacted each other again just last week and he was sweet for a day or so but is now being disrespectful.

I want so badly to let go but I'm having such trouble.
