Not deep down in your heart where it hurts. Even if you were the one who said “enough”, it wasn’t really because you wanted to. It was because you felt you had to.

My boyfriend and I have been dating just coming up on 6 months. He is nothing like anyone I've ever dated before and that's what I found most appealing.

Now he just moved to the Middle East for a new job, and I'm here in the U.S. and our communication isn't as I hoped anymore.

This week the letter comes from one of our amazing anonymous readers who I've called "Heidi". She writes in to talk about her insecurities with the man she loves. Sound familiar? We all have them, in one way or another.

Here's what she had to say:

Hi Jane.

I'm 23 years old and I've been in a relationship with my current boyfriend for almost three years now and it's been going really great. He's an amazing guy and has never done anything to betray me, etc.

My problem, though, is my insecurity about this relationship. I know I love him and he loves me back but what if he finds someone prettier or smarter than me?

He's friends with loads of girls, not close to them but he knows them well. What if he starts liking one of them more than he likes me? He's known me for 5 years and I admit it can get boring at times.

My Boyfriend, partner of going on 4 years and I got into a huge argument over my trying to rescue an abused Horse, and my Girlfriend was going to buy it.

He thinks he knows it all  with 4 degrees and got all bent out of shape when things were not going the way he wanted them to with the transaction, saying a lot of incompetent things were going on with communication with the owner of this horse, my girlfriend and me.

Here's her story:

I've been in  a relationship with a man for almost 3 months now.

He doesn't text or call, I'm always the one initiating communication. I spoke to him about it and he said that he's not a text or call person, the only person he calls is his grandma.

This guy is a graphic designer and always active online, twitter and Instagram but never checks up on me. When I do, he takes forever to reply to it.

He tried to call after my discussion with him but here's another issue, his call is always very official - like how are you and have a good day.

The only time he said something nice is when we are having sex or making out, those are the times he says he loves me.Continue Reading

He Started Acting Distant Right After Our Conversation

Our letter this week comes from beautiful Charlie, who tells us her story of a painful breakup.

Here's the story she shared:

So, me and my boyfriend broke up about 11 days ago.

I asked him a couple weeks before if he wanted children and to marry me. He's said through the relationship that he does and has even given timescales. His answer was now "I don't know, they'd be a compromise." Then he acted strange for the two weeks after this conversation.

So I was unhappy as he was being rude and unaffectionate. We had a day out and it was like the worst first date ever.

Then Wednesday before last I cried at work because I knew I had to talk to him as he made it clear he didn't want to make plans with me the weekend before (watching fifty shades all day with his best female friend.)

So me being unhappy that he didn't even plan something with me and she wasn't even free that weekend, I got upset and decided we needed to talk.Continue Reading
