One of our gorgeous new readers, Beverley, tells us her story about her long term boyfriend first wanting to move in together, but then changing his mind and pulling away. She's wondering if he'll ever commit.

I have stumbled across your page by chance but is extremely relevant to where I'm at in my relationship at the moment.

I just read "3 Biggest Warning Signs He'll NEVER Commit" and I'm worried. I have been with my boyfriend for coming up on 3 years now.  I am 27 and he is 25. How do you stop attracting the wrong guys? One of our beautiful readers, Nicky, is having this problem that so many of us (myself included!) have struggled with at one time or another.

I don't know where I'm going wrong but I always manage to fall for the wrong guy - help!

I started off in my late teens by falling for guys who either lied or emotionally black mailed me and after learning my lessons on that one I now attract guys who can't commit.

My last relationship of 3 years strung me along believing he wanted marriage and children like me but then when it came to committing to that he then just selfishly dropped me and said that wasn't what he wanted.Continue Reading

Our gorgeous friend, Anita, has written in to tell us about her boyfriend of 4-1/2 years who just doesn't seem to be able to commit to marriage.

Dear Jane,

I left my live in boyfriend 11 months ago because he seemed to have no plans to ever marry me.

He also refused to communicate at all, by that I mean if I tried to talk to him about anything regarding my feelings or our relationship (which I did very seldom) he would completely ignore me & refuse to answer me, look at me or even acknowledge my presence at all.

This was ALWAYS the response no matter how loving I was he refused to speak or even tell me if we could discuss the issue another time.Continue Reading

What do you do when you feel like you've tried absolutely everything, and you just keep winding up alone and heartbroken every time? Our letter this week comes from one of our gorgeous readers, Jamie, who's going through just that, and she's wondering what to do next.

Hello Jane,

Last May I declared to all that I wanted to create a loving, long-term, committed relationship. In the last 17 months since I made that declaration I’ve spent over 13 of them dating 5 different men to varying degrees, the last relationship ending, sadly, yesterday.

This February I went on a date with a man I met online and from the very first moment I felt excited and optimistic that I might have found a really great guy. We dated 4 and a half months and I found myself actually falling in love for the first time in a looooooong time.

I let myself go there with this guy.

I was open and vulnerable and brave. He did some things that should have been red flags to me, but I overlooked them because I was so out of my mind attracted to him, he treated me well, and I just wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt.Continue Reading
