I'm looking for YOUR inspirational love story!
I'm going to be starting a regular feature on my website where I share a story of a happily married couple and how they met, along with any personal advice to offer to single women currently looking for that special someone of their own.
I reached out to Carrie and her blog The Parenting Passageway because I know that her readers are very in tune to what it takes to create a strong, bonded family, and I know that you all have stories that would be very inspirational to my readers who are longing for what you all have found yourselves.
I'm hoping to inspire these single women to hold out for family men dedicated to their wives and families and being the best fathers and husbands they can be, so I would love to hear from any of you married women who would be willing to share your stories (anonymously if you wish, of course). So if you have a story of real love, in the real world (no sugarcoating necessary - many of these women need to let go of their fantasies) with the man who has turned out to be your very own Mr. Right, please help me to inspire other women to find it for themselves by sharing your personal story.
Feel free to tell your story however you like, but to get you started, here are a few guidelines you can follow if it makes it easier:
- How/where you met your husband
- How was your relationship with him different from prior relationships? How did you know he was "the one"?
- What is one piece of advice you would give single women looking for their own Mr. Right?
- How you would like your signature to appear (i.e. "Mary, Seattle WA", or "Mary Smith, Seattle WA", or "Mary, Tom, Billy (7), Estelle (3)", or simply "Anonymous", etc.)
And of course any other parts of your story that you would like to include would be wonderful.

A little about me and my blog:
I have always had a passion for making a difference in the world, and although much of this has been on hold while I'm raising my own children, my youngest has begun sleeping longer through the night so I've been able to start making some strides towards making a bigger difference outside of my immediate family. I’m hoping to be the change I want so much to see in the world by reaching out to so many single women who are selling their souls for a guy, wanting to be part of a relationship no matter how he treats them because they lack so much self-esteem and confidence in themselves.
I see myself and what I used to be reflected in so many of their faces and I have been feeling a stirring within me to share my own story so that I can save these young women from going through a similar painful journey as I experienced. I’ve found myself passionately getting into writing what was a few pages of thoughts on my experiences, to a regular blog that is attracting many women from all parts of the world, from all different places of their journeys. My goal is to give them a reason to hope, to know that it really is possible to go from the begging end of one-sided relationships that we hold onto so hard, to the real thing with someone who is worth waiting for.
I believe that one of the primary ways that we can change the world for the better is to begin with how we raise and treat our children. And that means we need to have a mother and father who will raise them peacefully, lovingly, respectfully - without knowing any form of violence. We need to begin with changing who it is we, the women of the world, are choosing to have and raise our children with. The guys that we’re dating that are eventually, either planned or not, going to become the father of our children. And based on these realizations, my mission came to be.
So, again, I would love to hear your story and I know my readers would also. You would be so inspiring to them! Please use the contact form (click here) to tell your story, along with any advice you would give to today's single women. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me directly at jane@gettingtotruelove.com.
Thanks so much (in advance)! I can't wait to hear your stories!
Love, Jane
